Iowa Decanted’s mystery visit service gives wineries and wine retailers the opportunity to receive valuable feedback on customer service, servicescaping, and products sold. Wineries also have the opportunity to participate in a short consultation with the evaluator, covering aspects of the business environment which could be developed further, with specific suggestions for improvement. A ‘Best Practices Seminar’ will cover these suggestions in more depth, with one-on-one coaching from the evaluator to address strategies for accomplishing the suggested improvements.
Digital Visit Service
Digital Visit + Written Evaluation: $75
Digital Visit + Written Evaluation + Digital Development Consultation: $159
Iowa Decanted’s digital visit service gives wineries and wine retailers the opportunity to receive feedback on their digital servicescape, including websites and social media sites. Wineries also have the opportunity to participate in a development consultation with the evaluator to address specific strategies for improvement.
Gold level supporters of Iowa Decanted have the opportunity to receive a free evaluation on both their digital and physical servicescape. Red level supporters of Iowa Decanted qualify to receive one free evaluation.

Why are we offering these services?
Iowa Decanted is dedicated to the development of the Iowa wine industry and our staff is uniquely qualified to offer evaluation and consultation services for digital as well as physical locations. With over thirty years of accumulated experience in communication services, digital development, and marketing/storybuilding, we can offer constructive criticism and advice to those wishing to further develop and grow their business. And since members of our evaluation staff are experienced wine-tasters and evaluators, our perspective is particularly valuable for wineries and wine retailers.
In any business, the prospective customer faces a high level of uncertainty, particularly in regards to the quality of goods and services. Customers who are uncertain, or who lack specific knowledge or experience will focus on a number of quality signals in order to make educated decisions about their purchase.
